Medical Assistant - Bilingual (Spanish)

Del Sol Research is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinical research team in Mesa, Arizona . This position supports clinical research studies with a primary focus on vaccine research while also assisting with studies across multiple therapeutic areas. Working alongside Clinical Research Coordinators and investigators, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality participant care while helping advance new treatments through clinical research. This role combines traditional Medical Assistant responsibilities with clinical research, offering the opportunity to develop specialized research experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare participants for study visits by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and performing patient intake. Perform ECGs and other protocol-required clinical procedures. Assist Clinical Research Coordinators and investigators during participant visits. Collect, process, label, and prepare laboratory specimens according to study protocols. Assist with vaccine studies and other research procedures as required by protocol. Schedule participants and assist with follow-up visits and retention activities. Maintain accurate source documentation and support clinical data collection. Prepare exam rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and assist with research equipment. Support participant recruitment, pre-screening, and appointment scheduling. Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring protocol compliance and participant safety. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Medical Assistant Certificate or proof of successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Current BLS Certification preferred. Minimum six (6) months of Medical Assistant or clinical experience preferred. Clinical research experience is a plus but not required. Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong computer proficiency and willingness to learn clinical research systems. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mesa, Arizona .
