Location Omaha, NE Requisition Number Staff_14857 Department College of Medicine Employment Type Full-Time, Regular Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Remote / Telecommuting No remote/telecommuting opportunity Position Summary In support of the research initiatives on the UNMC campus, this position will perform histological procedures for the Tissue Sciences Facility. Duties include tissue preparation, sectioning/staining, analysis and troubleshooting, as well as performing standard research techniques and operations. Requirements Required Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biological Science or related field Will consider five years related education and experience combined of which two years must include related post‑high‑school education and a minimum of one year related experience. Required Experience 1 year in histology and/or immunohistocytochemistry Will consider five years related education and experience combined of which two years must include related post‑high‑school education and a minimum of one year related experience. Required License No license required.
