Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: 36-hour Night Shift, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current RN License
• ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred
• Previous telemetry experience required
• ICU experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions, plans of care, and patient goals.
• Provide patient care following established standards, protocols, and procedures.
• Deliver patient and family education based on identified needs and barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective discharge planning.
• Delegate and supervise nursing interventions effectively.
• Document all pertinent data and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Identify and address patient safety risks and report incidents appropriately.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapy per protocols and physician orders.
