We are hiring a Lead Appliance Installation Technician with experience installing high-end residential kitchen and laundry appliances. This role requires technical skill, leadership, and a strong customer service mindset. You’ll oversee a small team, ensure proper installation of premium appliances, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install premium appliances (e.g., Sub-Zero, Miele, Viking, Wolf) in high-end residential settings
- Lead a crew of 1–3 installation team members, overseeing daily job execution and training
- Represent the company professionally during client interactions, addressing questions or concerns with care and confidence
- Read and interpret installation plans, schematics, and manufacturer’s instructions accurately
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
- Safely maneuver large and heavy appliances (up to 800 lbs) using proper equipment and techniques
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed during installs
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and a positive working relationship with clients and team members
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on appliance installation experience, with demonstrated leadership or crew oversight
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Comfortable working with built-in and high-end appliance brands
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry required
- Ability to maneuver large appliances safely using dollies, lifts, and proper lifting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
