Senior Marketing Director

Generating Income For Tomorrow is a movement founded in 2020, focused on building a better future for the Black community in the city of Kansas City, by turning Black owned businesses into sustainable Black employers. The organization provides grants to Black-owned businesses, operating in east of Troost Ave, and free business support at our 5008 Prospect business center, to help stimulate job creation and economic opportunity. The organization is supported by recurring donations that fuel our mission to fight racism and drive sustainable change in Kansas City. The Senior Marketing Director is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kansas City, MO, responsible for leading G.I.F.T.'s overall marketing, branding, and communications strategy to increase donor acquisition and engagement among small dollar recurring donors, and advance the organization's mission. This position develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives that improve donor acquisition and retention, oversees fundraising campaigns, manages external communications, and provides leadership to the marketing team. Key Responsibilities Lead strategies related to G.I.F.T.'s external communications, brand awareness, and public presence. Develop and execute partnership campaigns that increase donor retention, and donor acquisition. Lead specialized donor groups and manage donor events Develop and implement strategies to grow G.I.F.T.'s social media reach and engagement. Create and oversee fundraising campaigns and storytelling initiatives that communicate organizational impact and inspire philanthropic support. Supervise, coach, and develop the Marketing Director, providing ongoing leadership, accountability, and professional development. Success Metrics (KPIs) Increase in donor acquisition and donor retention through marketing campaigns. Growth in social media followers, engagement, and overall digital reach. Successful execution and measurable performance of fundraising campaigns. Growth and engagement of the G.I.F.T. Donor Groups Program.
