Our client located in Middlefield, OH is searching for a Production Supervisor on 2nd and 3rd shift! This is a direct hire! Reports to: Production Manager
Job Summary: Manages direct and indirect labor employees on their shift. Responsible for ensuring acceptable efficiency, quality, labor use, and safety, and paperwork.
Primary Functions:
- Comply with all policies and procedures in the quality manual, employee handbook, and safety manual.
- Monitor and support direct and indirect labor personnel including new employee training.
- Enforce disciplinary action, as necessary.
- Maintain efficiency, quality, safety, scrap, and direct labor usage goals. Coach poor performers for improvement.
- Daily assignment of employees to production jobs.
- Responsible for ensuring all subordinates follow work instructions and methods.
- Perform process troubleshooting (including temperature checks) as required and obtain engineering support when necessary. Immediately communicate process problems and safety issues to Production Manager and Engineering.
- Daily processing of production paperwork as required. Responsible for accuracy of employee daily paperwork.
- Communicate necessary information between shifts and departments.
- Ensure employees follow proper methods and procedures.
Must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience as well as experience with injection molding and rubber.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from the floor.
- Must be able to drive lift truck.
- Must be able to perform job while standing or walking.

- Employee must follow any other reasonable instructions provided by their supervisor as this job description may not be all-inclusive.
- Employee must function in the best interest of the organization to promote an effective team-oriented environment.
- Overtime for the Production Supervisor position is mandatory.
