TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greenville, South Carolina, 29605!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in MS/Tele License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Strong experience in Urology and Vascular patient care - EKG exam competency - Epic experience (minimum of 1 year) Description: Shift is nights, working three 12-hour shifts each week. Floating may be required based on staffing needs. Weekend coverage is required, typically every other weekend but may vary depending on needs. The unit specializes in a surgical specialty focus, specifically caring for Vascular and Urology patient populations. Patients are typically admitted post-operatively with an average length of stay of one to two days. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 on both day and night shifts. Each shift includes three support staff to assist the registered nurse. The traveler will manage 5-6 med-surgical patients who do not require cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include performing dressing changes and providing care for patients with wound vacs and drains. Some experience with Urology and Vascular procedures is necessary. Epic EMR experience is a requirement. All assignments may involve floating to various units based on qualifications and competencies already demonstrated.
