Purpose To provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing. Qualifications Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience Must possess basic computer skills Must possess a current and valid license for Practical Nurse (or equivalent) Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred Essential Functions Assist in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing Perform tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory Collaborate with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met Communicate immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor Perform all other duties as assigned Hourly: $36.00 SR88FF This position will remain open until filled Direct Support roles within this organization are mandated reporters, and as such must report any instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation that they are involved in or witness.
