Lead Teacher Responsibilities Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards. Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and support your center’s success. Lead Teacher Qualifications Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans. Ability to meet state requirements for education and our child‑care center requirements. Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. At least 18 years old, energetic, dependable, and passionate. Compensation and Benefits Assistant Teacher: $18.04 – $18.74 per hour Lead Teacher: $20.26 – $21.05 per hour Lead Teacher with CDA or Higher: $21.68 – $22.53 per hour Bi‑weekly and daily pay options. Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) for full‑time employees; limited medical for part‑time workers.
