ServiceNow Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of ServiceNow engineering or platform development experience; alternatively, a masters degree and 3+ years, an associates degree and 7+ years, or a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and administering enterprise ServiceNow platform solutions and custom modules.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP web services, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow workflow orchestration.
- Experience maintaining platform baselines, configuration management controls, and instance patch cycles.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Current, active Top Secret security clearance.
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, move around the office occasionally, and communicate accurately with coworkers, management, and customers, including during presentations.
- Preferred: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) or Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Preferred: Experience supporting U.S. military command operations, Combatant Command environments, or Department of Defense enterprise technical environments.
- Preferred: Familiarity with ITIL, DevSecOps deployment practices, and DoD STIG compliance automation.
- Preferred: Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced operational environments.
- Design, configure, develop, and customize enterprise ServiceNow applications, workflows, and service portals.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and custom business application modules across mission networks.
- Develop automated workflows, custom scripts using JavaScript, HTML, and Jelly, REST/SOAP API integrations, and orchestration pipelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform platform upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
- Maintain system configuration baselines, baseline documentation, and update set release controls.
- Recommend and implement engineering process improvements to enhance platform scalability and user experience.
