Position Overview\n \nWe are seeking a bilingual Construction Safety Coordinator to support safety operations on a large-scale Amazon Distribution Center construction project in Austin, TX. This individual will work closely with site leadership, subcontractors, and craft personnel to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client-specific safety requirements.\n \nThe ideal candidate has experience supporting active commercial or industrial construction sites and can effectively communicate safety expectations to both English and Spanish-speaking workers.\n \nResponsibilities:\nConduct daily site safety inspections and audits.\nMonitor work activities to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.\nLead new hire orientations and site-specific safety training.\nFacilitate toolbox talks and daily safety meetings.\nIdentify hazards and implement corrective actions.\nInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.\nMaintain safety documentation, reports, and training records.\nPartner with project management and subcontractors to promote continuous safety improvement.\nEnsure proper PPE usage and adherence to site safety protocols.\nAssist with job hazard analyses (JHAs), permitting, and risk assessments.\n \nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of construction safety experience.\nOSHA 500 Certification.\nOSHA 30 Certification.\nBilingual in English and Spanish.\nStrong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced construction environment.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n \nPreferred Experience\nExperience supporting large commercial, industrial, distribution center, manufacturing, data center, or warehouse construction projects.\nExperience working with multiple subcontractors on active construction sites.\nFirst Aid/CPR Certification
