Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a temporary Administrative Assistant for a manufacturing company in Grand Forks, ND. The role is expected to last 3 months. In this role, you’ll support daily office operations, coordinate communication across departments, and help ensure a smooth and organized workplace. What You’ll Do as an Administrative Assistant:

• Answer and route calls using a multi-line telephone system in a professional manner
• Greet visitors, customers, and suppliers and direct them to appropriate staff
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and assist with scanning, copying, and filing
• Coordinate travel arrangements and schedule trainings for departments
• Maintain office supply inventory, including ordering and tracking items
• Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, proofreading, and document preparation
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels

What You Need to Bring to the Administrative Assistant Role:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of administrative experience preferred; entry-level candidates welcome
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to type 50–60 WPM and perform basic math and reading tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Familiarity with office equipment (copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.)
