Position overviewThe Sanitation Technician helps keep the pasta production facility clean, safe, and compliant with food safety and GMP standards. This role supports both common areas and production lines to ensure a hygienic environment for food manufacturing.ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize common areas (breakrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices as needed)Clean and sanitize production areas, including floors, equipment exteriors, and surrounding work areasRemove trash and recyclables; maintain orderly waste and recycling areasFollow established sanitation procedures and schedules for the production linesHandle and use approved cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and correctlyRefill and maintain cleaning supplies and sanitation stationsFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including personal hygiene and plant rulesReport any safety, quality, or equipment issues to the sanitation lead or supervisorSupport additional sanitation or housekeeping tasks as assignedWhat we offerStructured Scheduling - Commit to full-time shifts with reliable hours and consistent schedules.Stable Pay - Receive regular paychecks on a consistent schedule, with applicable taxes withheld through our payroll system.Opportunity for Growth - Temp-to-hire roles with potential for permanent employment and career advancement.Training - Receive company-provided training to support your role and ensure safety compliance.RequirementsPrevious janitorial, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience preferred (food manufacturing or GMP environment a plus)Ability to work 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through SaturdayAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftComfortable working around cleaning chemicals (with proper PPE and training)Reliable attendance and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsWillingness to complete required screenings (background check, 5-panel drug test, I-9/E-Verify, and any site-required trainings)
