Express Employment is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our client's team. - Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll tax returns, sales tax filings, and monthly financial reports including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with client HR-related functions, tax season preparation, and maintain organized financial records.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Experience with Restaurant 365 accounting software.
- Prior experience working in a public accounting or CPA firm environment.
