Your Impact in This Role As a Maintenance Mechanic , your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed. Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, loaders). Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues and pneumatic valves. Weld, fabricate, and patch steel components as needed. Rig and install motors, conveyor pulleys, and other heavy machinery. Maintain and back up sorting computer software and parameters. Complete daily maintenance logs and manage preventive maintenance programs. Communicate equipment issues across shifts and support team efforts. Provide on‑job training to new employees and serve as backup for other technicians. What You Bring To The Table High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics preferred. Glass processing knowledge is a plus.
