Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Creative, compassionate, and dedicated to student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop targeted treatment goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals in school routines
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ physical development
• Adapt and modify school environments or activities to maximize student participation
