Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new facility workflows
