Secondary English Teacher
Secondary English teacher for placement in the 2026-2027 school year. Possible additional duty of assistant baseball coach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate in content area assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of academic subject, curriculum, and instruction
- Ability to instruct students in a variety of effective methods
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Pay:
- Adopted Gary ISD pay scale ($4000 above base, $2000 masters)
- STAAR Tested Stipends ($5000)
- TIA District
