Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing to support store and corporate hiring needs. This role exercises independent judgment in developing sourcing strategies, evaluating candidates, and influencing hiring decisions. The specialist leverages modern recruiting technologies and AI-assisted tools to optimize hiring outcomes and ensure cost-effective, data-driven recruitment.
Essential Job Duties
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop proactive strategies to identify candidates for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles using job boards, social media, and community outreach.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire process from intake consultation and screening to offer recommendations.
- Technology & Data: Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and AI-assisted tools; analyze recruiting data to adjust strategies and improve time-to-fill/fulfillment rates.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with hiring managers to provide insights on market trends, candidate availability, and hiring expectations.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruiting practices comply with federal, California state, and local employment laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience in California, preferably in high-volume environments (chain retail/supermarkets/restaurants/warehousing/manufacturing).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to adjust sourcing strategies based on performance results.
- Demonstrated experience using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AI-assisted recruiting technology.
- Strong knowledge of California-specific recruiting and hiring laws (fair hiring, pay transparency).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates must be bilingual in English-Mandarin OR English-Spanish. This resource will frequently communicate with English, Mandarin or Spanish speaking stakeholders.
