Field Service Technician (Warehouse Automation) Olyphant, PA, United States Job Summary Position Summary: OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full-time onsite Field Service Technician to work in Warehouse Automation. The technician will use hand tools for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment. We look for individuals who are mechanically inclined with a strong background in electronics and some software. The role involves servicing and maintaining robotic technology‑based equipment in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Keeping equipment running in production through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment. Installing and setting up new equipment. Interacting with the customer to determine the problem. Completing field service reports. Keeping the customer informed as repairs are made and answering any questions that may arise. Interacting with management and other personnel to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues. Completing and submitting weekly online timecards and expense reports. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on job experience. Ability to work overtime when required. PC competency (Word, Excel, Windows OS). Excellent customer service skills. Driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently. Standing and walking throughout the duration of shift. Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces. Experience working in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift heavy machine parts while on duty. Flexible to squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead while on the job. Benefits Full medical, dental, and vision coverage with low employee contribution rates.
