About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Winnenden (Stuttgart Area) on a fixed-term contract of 24 months to cover parental leave. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and executing operational HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless HR service delivery and compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to both local and international HR projects, support process optimization, and participate in digitalization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and user experience. The HR Specialist will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, including work councils, to ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies. This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual capable of balancing operational responsibilities with strategic projects, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with relevant experience in an HR Generalist role. Well-founded knowledge of operational HR management, employee lifecycle processes, and German labor law is essential, especially in collaborating with work councils. Proficiency in working with HR systems, preferably Workday, and advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Forms, and Power Automate are required. The candidate should demonstrate a structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with fluency in German and English, are critical for success in this role. An interest in process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage independently and execute operational HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
• Prepare HR-related documentation, reports, analyses, and employee communications to support decision-making and transparency.
• Support managers and employees by providing expert guidance on a broad spectrum of HR topics and inquiries, fostering a supportive work environment.
• Actively contribute to local and international HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Support the development, optimization, and standardization of HR processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Participate in HR digitalization and automation initiatives, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve user experience.
• Maintain and continuously improve HR systems and employee data quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with organizational and administrative HR activities, including documentation, reporting, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, including legal and labor relations teams, to ensure smooth HR operations.
• Partner with work councils by preparing documentation, facilitating consultation processes, and implementing co-determination requirements in compliance with legal standards.
• Ensure all HR activities comply with labor law, company policies, and work council agreements, maintaining a compliant and ethical workplace.
