Maine Oxy has an immediate opening for a CDL-A driver based out of our Auburn, ME!! $32 hourly pay + jump in with a $3000 sign on bonus! Full time, local routes, home every night, home weekends, steady work, and overtime typically available!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes
• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement
