Canton Mancan is assisting a local company in placing a general laborer with experience with welding. The ideal candidate has experience with metal fabrication. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay is BOE: 20-25 an hour
schedule:8a-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Cut, shape, fabricate, and assemble structural components using hand tools, power tools, , ,
Perform quality welding in accordance with company quality standards.
Measure and inspect fabricated parts using precision instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Fabricate and assemble frames, guards, piping, and mechanical components, including pipe threading and rigging as required.
Operate forklifts, , and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform machining, , general fabrication tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications:
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
Proven experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
Working knowledge of welding and fabrication codes and standards.

Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
Machining experience preferred.
Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
