The Field Lube Technician is responsible for supporting field operations by fueling, servicing, and performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery. This role requires an organized, safety-conscious individual who works closely with operators, supervisors, and the maintenance team to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.RESPONSIBILITIES:Fuel and service equipment following fueling and spill prevention protocols Performs routine preventive maintenance, including greasing and checking fluid levelsConducts daily inspections to identify and report leaks, wear, or safety concernsCompletes minor repairs (e.g., replacing filters, fixing lights, repairing hoses, tightening components) and escalates major issues to mechanicsAdhere to all safety standards, including proper PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean work environmentUtilize the Core Values to promote a positive and professional working environment through peer recognition, support, and clear communication while collaborating effectively with teamsLead by example and encourage accountability both up and down the chain of commandREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentHands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including lubrication services.Knowledge of oils, greases, fluids, and basic preventive care for equipment Competent in reading service manuals, maintenance logs, and work ordersMust provide and maintain personal tools and field equipment Capable of lifting 50–70 lbs and working in a variety of conditions, including outdoors and under vehicles.Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employmentRequired to have a reliable form of transportation to and from workCOMPETENCIESHigh attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsReliable and punctualAbility to work individually and in a team environmentBENEFITSPaid Time Off (PTO)Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with MatchGenerous Years of Service AwardsReferral Bonus up to $2500Sign-On Bonus up to $3000  Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Dickinson, North Dakota, Baranko Companies is a family-owned organization consisting of multiple business entities, each with their own area of expertise.
