To learn more, click here.Schweiger's Ultimate Employee Experience:Positive work environment with the tools to need to do your job and growFull time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for:Medical (Virtual Care included), HSA/FSA, Dental, Vision on 1st of the month after hire date401K after 30 days of employmentCompany Sponsored Short Term Disability (Only applicable for non-California employee)Pre-tax savings available for public transit commutersYour birthday is an additional personal holidayPart-time employees (less than 30 hours) are eligible for:Dental and Vision on 1st of the month after date of hire401K after 30 days of employmentEmployee discounts on Schweiger skin care products & cosmetic servicesJob Summary: The Payroll Specialist will support the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring payroll related processes are administered on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.Job ResponsibilitiesAdministers processing of organization’s payroll and collects payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.Handles the processing of employee, timesheet, benefits, and other payroll information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.Assists in proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.Collaborates with Senior Payroll Manager on accurate and timely processing of payroll related paperwork, including wage garnishments and tax agency notices.Issues manual or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll error, direct deposit returns or final discharge.Manages the payroll email inbox (FreshDesk ticketing system) and responds to payroll inquiries within 24-48 hours, creating an excellent employee experience.Supports Senior Payroll Manager with biweekly, monthly, off-cycle, quarter-end, and year-end payroll processing.Prepares payroll reports for senior management or auditing purposes, upon request.Participate in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department.Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.Qualifications2-3 years of payroll experience required.High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.Workday and ADP Smart compliance experience preferred.Compensation: $63,000 -$77,000This remote position is open to candidates located in the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, and California.Schweiger, is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its hiring process with applicants, whether internal or external, because of race, creed, color, age, national origin, ancestry, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, veteran status, military status, application for military service or any other class per local, state or federal law.Schweiger does not require vaccination for COVID-19 in order to be considered for employment; however, some state guidelines may require that we keep record of your vaccination status on file. #J-18808-Ljbffr Schweiger
