Welder- 2nd shift

WELDER – Wausau, WI We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team at the Wausau location. Responsibilities Tack weld body frames and rings Weld body frame, rings, and feet Stack rotor laminations onto arbors and weld lams Read blueprints and follow job specifications Approve and reject raw materials based on quality standards and record supplier performance Select output and check them using appropriate methods and measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and comparing to specifications Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to follow established procedures for safety, quality, and general assembly High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree from a technical school is a plus Certified welder – MIG, TIG, wire feed, aluminum and steel (preferred) Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management Basic computer literacy (preferred) Effective written and verbal communication skills Understanding of the physical and mechanical properties of metal as affected by composition Knowledge of mechanical work and heat treatments including metal cutting and grinding (desirable) Ability to coach and lead others with respect, dignity, and strong communication skills (written and verbal) Benefits 401(k) and company match Dental, Medical, & Vision insurance – Day One!
