Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials for New Mexico
• Previous experience (preferred) working in a school-based or pediatric OT setting
• Strong ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability when addressing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized OT treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services based on IEP goals, both individually and in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain clear and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
• Educate staff and families about strategies that enhance students’ participation and success in school activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding OT needs and progress
