Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-Time | Long-Term Client Contract: Full 2026-2027 School Year Setting: Multisite school assignment (all ages) Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico (Southern NM) Travel Radius: Includes nearby communities such as Deming , Truth or Consequences , and areas near White Sands Additional Recruitment Areas: Strong candidate pool often found in El Paso, TX (only ~46 miles away) Position Overview Our long-time school district partner is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This role serves students across multiple campuses and age ranges, requiring flexibility, collaboration, and strong clinical judgment. Key Requirements

- Active NM State Licensure (NMRLD) required by start date
- Active NMPED Certification (New Mexico Public Education Department)
- NMPED certification is typically fast to obtain if the candidate stays on top of the process
- Willingness to supervise COTA(s)
- Willingness to travel between multiple schools
- Comfortable serving students of all ages (PreK-12)
- El Paso, TX is just 46 miles away , making this an excellent opportunity for candidates in the El Paso metro area.
- Nearby communities like Deming , Truth or Consequences , and the White Sands region offer additional recruiting reach and housing options.
- Provide direct and indirect OT services across multiple campuses
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Supervise and support assigned COTA(s)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with NMRLD and NMPED standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and documentation requirements
