About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit at Hackensack Meridian Health provides individualized patient care based on evidence-based practices and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management. Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care. Requirements Education: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program Telemetry experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire ACLS required About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
