Advanced PTA | Physical Therapy Assistant

Education

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.

Experience

Applicants should have at least one year of experience in a Joint Commission accredited hospital and one year in an acute rehabilitation facility or equivalent, primarily serving adult patients. Experience in home care for six months is preferred. Basic computer skills are advantageous.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate stairs, and assist patients weighing 10 to over 200 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Capability to safely operate a vehicle.
