VP, Head of R&D Clinical Creation Center

VP-level leader to oversee digital, data, and AI capabilities across the clinical trial lifecycle at Pfizer's R&D Clinical Creation Center. Accountable for budget management, technology strategy incorporating AI and emerging platforms, and cross-functional team leadership to modernize clinical trial operations.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accountability for digital, data, and AI capabilities supporting the clinical trial lifecycle
- Manage budget and delivery accountability for prioritized R&D impact across the Clinical Creation Center portfolio
- Define and execute technology strategy embedding AI and advanced analytics into trial planning and delivery
- Lead cross-functional team using product-oriented delivery models and Agile ways of working
- Partner with CD&O, therapeutic areas, and scientific leadership to align technology investments with operational needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years digital product delivery and technology leadership experience
- 5+ years clinical domain experience in operations, development, or scientific functions
- Proven expertise with Agile methodologies, transitioning teams from project to product models
- Direct experience applying AI/ML to study planning, trial optimization, or clinical delivery
- Track record partnering with senior clinical and business stakeholders to execute strategy
- Experience leading organizational change and managing significant technology budgets
- Demonstrated success in regulated, compliance-heavy environments
Compensation: $274,000-$456,600 base salary, plus 30% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
