Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and meticulous evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative care, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative support involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
