General Manager

Kinsa is recruiting for a: General Manager – Ingredients Processing Location : Hancock, WI Mission: Our client, a producer of premium ingredient products, is looking for a General Manager to add to their team. In this role you will be accountable for meeting production goals, maintaining regulatory compliance, controlling costs, and building a high-performance culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below). Compensation: 120-150k, bonus Paid Vacation/Holidays Relocation What you’ll be responsible for: Lead all plant operations Develop and execute all production plans, schedules and labor Oversee all inventory Analyze KPs and drive improvements Own and lead all Quality and Food Safety programs, including SQF, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and allergen control Ensure SOPs are written, implemented, maintained, and followed for all processes and equipment Maintain audit readiness and lead corrective and preventive action programs Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and timely repairs Review financial and operational reports to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or related field 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in a food processing environment Experience with produce processing Knowledge of quality assurance in a food processing environment Experience in SQF HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, and FDA regulations Experience with budgets, P&L Statements, and Operational Metrics Experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI and Six Sigma initiatives Referrals are our best source for the top talent our clients need so if you know of anyone with these skills in the food and beverage industry, please pass me their name and email/phone number, or share this job posting with them.
