Shift(s) Description: Monday Friday Clinic Coverage with Hospital Rotation and Beeper Call

Coverage Dates:

Start: December 1, 2026
End: Ongoing

Practice Details:

Practice Setting: Outpatient & Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Beeper Call
EMR System: Epic
Rounding: Inpatient Rounding & Consults
Call Type: Beeper Call (30-Minute Response Time)
Hospital Rotation: Every 5 6 Weeks
Coverage Commitment: Minimum 3 Weeks Per Month (Full-Time Preferred)

Practice Highlights:

Long-term opportunity with an established cardiology program
Clinic schedule Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Each physician manages their own patient panel
Responsibilities include inpatient care, consults, multidisciplinary rounds, reading hospital diagnostic studies, and coordinating care with referring providers
One dedicated clinic reading day each week when not on hospital service
Provider must serve as the supervising physician for Physician Assistants
Facility is seeking providers interested in a long-term commitment

Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiology (Required)
Cardiology Fellowship (Required)
Active Louisiana License or IMLC (Required)
ACLS (Required)
Active Supervising License (Required)
Must be available for a minimum of 3 weeks per month
Must provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage
