Become a full-time Residential Counselor (Overnight) with the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) in the Lakewood, CO area and help empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live full, independent, and joyful lives. This onsite role is hands-on, deeply rewarding, and perfect for someone who enjoys building genuine connections and supporting others in a values-driven environment rooted in Dedication, Dignity, Respect, and Choice .

Schedule:

Friday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Saturday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Sunday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Compensation: $20.50 per hour

Your Role:

As a Full-Time Residential Counselor, you will play an essential role in our community residential program. Each day offers meaningful opportunities to make a difference, whether by:

• Supporting daily living activities, including medication administration, hygiene assistance, and basic first aid
• Ensuring safety, including providing transportation to appointments and community activities
• Encouraging participation in work, recreation, and skill-building activities
• Preparing meals, maintaining a comfortable home environment, and supporting behavioral needs
• Using crisis intervention skills when needed and fostering stability and trust
• Completing documentation accurately and collaborating with your team to uphold our agency values

Qualifications & Skills:

• A valid Colorado driver's license, or the ability to apply for one within the first thirty (30) days of employment, is required for this position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Able to pass criminal background checks and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS)
• Maintain current training requirements as defined in rules and regulations.
• Ability to meet the travel and transportation requirements of the position, including operating agency vehicles up to and including 15‑passenger wheelchair‑accessible vans as assigned
• Must be computer literate with the ability to document supports through a web based electronic documentation system
• Must comply with applicable public health and infection control requirements as required by law or regulation.
