Here, you will make an impact by: Coordinating project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects Defining and executing competitive bidding strategy Specifying equipment performance and design criteria Maintaining effective communication with project team, staff, and project owners Establishing accountability through understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet codes, guidelines, and standards Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) years of experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering Prior experience with automated assembly and packaging, webline, extrusion, material handling, and inspection equipment Prior experience with facilities mechanical or electrical equipment Prior experience managing capital projects Work location: Work location: Guin, AL Travel: May include up to 15% [domestic/international] Relocation: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
