divh2Nurse Practitioner (NP) For Occupational Health Screening Event/h2pCareerNation is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a 2-week occupational health screening event in Ronkonkoma NY by performing medical histories and physical exams. The NP will assess participants for workplace health clearance and collaborate with onsite staff to ensure a smooth and efficient screening process./ppThis is a short-term, high-volume assignment well-suited for an NP with strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently within a team setting./ppDates: 2-week long event in August or September, exact dates pending!/ppTypical Shift Times: Monday-Friday, 9a - 5pm (to be confirmed)/ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliConduct standardized histories and physicals (HPs) for participants/liliAccurately document findings using provided forms or electronic systems/liliFlag health concerns that require follow-up per clinical protocols/liliCoordinate with Medical Assistants, administrative staff, and other providers/liliMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and clinical integrity throughout the event/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State/liliMalpractice insurance coverage (required)/liliPrior experience in occupational health, urgent care, or primary care/liliAbility to commit to the full event schedule, including potential evenings or weekends/liliStrong interpersonal and documentation skills/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliExperience conducting occupational or pre-employment health screenings/liliAbility to practice autonomously or with a collaborative agreement, per New York scope of practice/liliFamiliarity with workplace health standards and clearance protocols/liliComfortable in fast-paced, event-style healthcare delivery environments./li/ul/div
