We are seeking a customer-oriented Hot Shot/Logistics Industry Customer Service Coordinator to serve as a vital link between customers, dispatch, and drivers. This role is based in our office near the Galleria (zip code 77081) and requires proficiency in communication and data management within a fast-paced environment. Experience in the hot shot or transportation industry is a plus, along with strong skills in Microsoft Outlook. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining accuracy while supporting a small customer service team under the Customer Service Manager. This position does not involve travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between customers, dispatch, and drivers to ensure smooth communication
• Compile and manage order entry information accurately and efficiently
• Resolve emerging customer account issues promptly
• Coordinate dispatch and transportation activities to support timely service delivery
• Manage customer support interactions via phone and email using Outlook
• Maintain data integrity and update relevant systems including Dispatch Science Software
• Handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Support communication handling and problem-solving within the logistics process

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
