Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient clinic, where a collaborative, friendly atmosphere prevails. A typical work week will consist of scheduling flexibility, with options for Monday through Friday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, as well as a potential 4-day, 10-hour shift arrangement. The total compensation for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify movement impairments and establish baseline functional capabilities. You will engage in detailed assessments that include manual evaluations, functional testing, and patient histories.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that align with the latest research and incorporate the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care plans and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, postural alignment, and daily function adaptations through personalized instruction and demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes using our integrated electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Stay updated on advancements in the field of physical therapy through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. While we prefer candidates with a Master's Degree, we are open to considering individuals with relevant qualifications and extensive practical experience.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory to practice in this role.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proven track record of implementing therapeutic interventions and evaluating patient outcomes successfully.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and sports-related injuries.
• Experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and technologies, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education strategies.
• Certification in additional specialties (e.g., orthopedics, sports, or pediatrics) is a plus, providing an advantage in the evaluation process.
