Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Fort Myers, a vibrant area known for its beautiful beaches and warm weather. You will work a standard full-time shift of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing you with evenings and weekends off to enjoy the local community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing state-of-the-art modalities and techniques to manage pain, improve mobility, and attain rehabilitation goals.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to discussions on patient progress and optimizing care strategies for improved outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families through education on conditions, self-care strategies, and effective use of therapeutic exercises.
• Document treatment progress accurately and timely in our electronic health record system, tracking patient outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, those requiring neurological rehabilitation, and athletes seeking sports medicine therapy. Your ability to adapt treatment plans for each unique demographic will be critical in facilitating optimal recovery and enhancing the quality of life for your patients.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state-issued license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training in orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports medicine will be particularly valued. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary cases and a proven track record of achieving patient-centric outcomes is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
