Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to assess their physical condition, medical history, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, utilizing techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient responses and advancements in their condition.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes, empowering them with self-care skills and knowledge regarding their treatment.
• Maintain an organized record of patient treatments and outcomes for continuous quality improvement and reporting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Life Care, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly, all facing various health challenges such as post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, neurological disorders, sports-related injuries, and rehabilitation from injuries sustained in accidents. Your work will focus not only on physical rehabilitation but also on empowering patients to achieve their personal health goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
