Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of North Fort Myers, our Rehabilitation Center offers a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere, structured to support our therapists and enhance patient outcomes. Working onsite, you will engage directly with patients in a state-of-the-art facility designed for rehabilitation, including specialized areas for therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education. Our schedule runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a strong work-life balance while focusing on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive evaluations, establishing treatment goals tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans featuring a variety of treatments and modalities that ensure optimal recovery.
• Perform manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, adjusting methodologies based on ongoing assessments.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise patient documentation, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, modifying care plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and treatment responses.
• Educate patients about physical therapy techniques to promote self-management and long-term health strategies.
• Collaborate with and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when additional interventions are required.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering resilience and commitment to the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse demographic ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults with mobility challenges. Your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care will help patients navigate their unique conditions and guide them through evidence-based recovery strategies tailored to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall functional capacity.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, in good standing without sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program development.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for maintaining thorough and accurate patient records.
• In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy practices and community health standards.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated success in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Previous experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting with other healthcare practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
