We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in commercial buildings. This position requires a professional who can work efficiently and accurately to ensure the functionality and durability of our piping systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record in pipefitting. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans for piping system layout.
2. Use a variety of tools and equipment to measure, cut, groove, thread, weld, and join several types of pipes including copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX, etc.
3. Expertly weld in all positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
4. Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
5. Assemble and install piping systems for commercial buildings.
6. Test piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
7. Use roll groove machine to create grooves in pipes.
8. Sweat and braze pipes as required.
9. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on piping systems.
10. Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter in the construction industry.
3. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.
4. Proficient in welding in all positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
5. Experience with sweating and brazing.
6. Skilled in using a roll groove machine.
7. Demonstrated ability to assemble and install piping systems for commercial buildings.
8. Proficient in measuring, cutting, grooving, threading, welding, and joining several types of pipes (copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX, etc.)
9. Ability to bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
10. Proven experience in testing piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills.
12. Strong attention to detail and precision.
13. Good physical condition and endurance to work in various positions and environments.
14. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
15. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
16. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
17. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
