Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery, including antepartum and postpartum care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk pregnancies effectively.
• Assist with cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries, circulating as necessary.
• Administer medications and manage labor progresses, including induction and augmentation.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current valid CA RN license held in good standing prior to assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required, travel experience preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM acceptable).
• Proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Availability for every other weekend shifts and floating to postpartum as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in high-risk settings and perform comprehensive couplet care.
