Automotive Client Advisor / Sales Consultant

Automotive Client Advisor Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Perry is growing our sales team and looking for motivated, personable, and competitive individuals to join us as Automotive Client Advisors. At Heritage, we call our salespeople Client Advisors because the job is about more than simply selling a vehicle. Our goal is to understand what each customer needs, help them find the right vehicle, and create an experience that earns their business now and in the future. Previous automotive sales experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the desire to build a successful career. What You'll Do * Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner * Learn each customer's needs, wants, budget, and priorities * Help customers select vehicles that fit their needs * Demonstrate vehicle features and technology * Conduct professional vehicle walk-arounds and discovery drives * Follow up with internet, phone, and showroom customers * Make outbound phone calls, texts, and emails to prospective customers * Set and confirm appointments * Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the buying process * Work with sales managers to structure deals and overcome customer concerns * Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity in the dealership CRM * Follow up with previous customers and build a book of repeat and referral business * Stay knowledgeable on current inventory, incentives, products, and vehicle features * Assist with dealership events, social media, and other sales activities * Deliver an excellent customer experience before, during, and after the sale What We're Looking For * Positive attitude and strong work ethic * Excellent communication and people skills * Competitive and goal-oriented * Comfortable talking with new people * Willingness to make phone calls and consistently follow up with customers * Coachable and willing to learn * Dependable and punctual * Ability to stay motivated without constant supervision * Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Automotive Experience Automotive sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Successful Client Advisors can come from many different backgrounds, including retail, hospitality, customer service, wireless sales, home improvement sales, power sports, insurance, and other customer-facing positions.
