Our client, a growing manufacturing organization with facilities across Snohomish and Skagit Counties, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to take ownership of benefits administration, leave of absence management, and HR compliance. This role was created because the company has grown significantly in the past year.
The company is looking for a specialist, someone who already knows benefits and leave inside and out and can run with it independently from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
As the HR Generalist, you will serve as the go to resource for employees on benefits and leave questions, managing everything from day to day administration to Open Enrollment coordination with the benefits broker. You will own leave of absence cases from start to finish, handling sensitive situations with professionalism and a steady hand.
You will also take the lead on HR compliance work, including affirmative action requirements, labor law postings, and other regulatory obligations, a piece of the role that will continue to grow over time. You will work closely with Finance and the Accounting team on benefits coordination, and you will split your time between the Everett and Sedro Woolley locations on a regular basis, with occasional travel to Bothell as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong, hands on background in benefits administration and leave of absence management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities without close supervision
- Experience preparing and issuing HR documentation on your own
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or similar environments highly preferred
- Comfort traveling regularly between two primary work locations
- A direct, professional communication style and a thick skin when navigating sensitive leave conversations
Preferred
- Experience with Paylocity and Employee Navigator, though not required, as both systems are user friendly
