Working in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy. Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring maintenance and calibration. Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT, and other health professionals. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties as assigned within scope. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Proficiency in English reading, writing, and verbal communication. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and PC skills. Physical: stand, move, lift 50-100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal: work effectively with professionals and ancillary staff.
