Locums Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a Locums Primary Care Physician to provide outpatient care to adult and senior patients in Green Valley, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values preventive care, chronic disease management, and collaborative, patient-centered medicine.

No inpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and senior patients.

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.

Provide preventive care and chronic disease management.

Interpret diagnostic testing and coordinate specialty referrals.

Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Care Managers, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and clinical support staff.

Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.

Educate patients regarding disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Active Arizona medical license required

Current DEA registration

Outpatient primary care experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Commitment to patient-centered, value-based care

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
