About the Clinician’s Workday The psychiatrist will evaluate, manage, treat, and discharge psychiatric patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit during day shifts Monday through Friday with call coverage requirements. Clinical responsibilities include seeing 12-14 patients daily, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and ensuring continuity of care through detailed documentation and coordination with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams. The clinician must work collaboratively with treatment teams and may provide coverage for consultation liaison services to the medical hospital. Board certification is negotiable, and active New Jersey licensure with prescriptive authority is required for this position serving adult patients in the inpatient setting.
