Business Development Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Ellie Mills State Farm is looking for a licensed, experienced insurance sales professional to join our team on Old Cutler Road in Cutler Bay, FL. This is a production role for someone who already knows the business — you'll quote, close, and cross-sell from day one. Base pay plus uncapped commission, with clear expectations around outbound activity and results. Our proven producers earn at the top of the posted range. Responsibilities Quote, close, and write new P&C and life business Make outbound calls and follow-ups to prospects and referral sources to build a consistent pipeline Cross-sell life and additional lines to new and existing households Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system Meet weekly and monthly production goals Qualifications Active Florida 2-20 General Lines license required Active Florida life license required (2-14 or 2-15) Proven insurance sales experience — quoting, closing, and cross-selling Self-motivated and competitive, with a track record of hitting sales goals Strong phone presence with confident, persuasive communication Consistent with outreach, follow-up, and pipeline management Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Clear career advancement paths Company events, contests, and team lunches Pay range: $60,000–$150,000 per year Total compensation including base salary, commissions, and bonuses.
